Zinc Studio
Shin Ng, a professional member of the Hong Kong Interior Design Association and the Hong Kong Designers Association, graduated from Swinburne University of Technology, Australia, majoring in interior design. After graduation, Mr. Ng worked in an internationally renowned architectural design company (Atelier Global) and has participated in several commercial interior design projects in China and Hong Kong. (Including: Dongguan International Trade Center, Pingdingshan Yingcheng Center Complex and Hong Kong Wan chai Vanke Integrated Commercial Residential Project, etc.).
In 2014, Mr. Ng established the zinc studio Ltd. studio in Hong Kong to develop his own business. He has participated in interior design projects for various commercial and residential properties in China and Hong Kong, such as Casino, hotels and store projects. In addition, a number of residential and commercial projects have been designed, such as a four-storey villa in Tai Po Beverly Hills, a two-storey high-profile bar in Guangzhou and a six-storey villa in Baoan District of Nanshan. In the overall design concept, a suitable moving line is the main axis of the overall space for the user background and the space requirements.
In the past 4 years, the studio has won recognition in various design competitions, including the US INT'l DESIGN AWARDS, the US International space design award, the Korean K-Design Award, the Hong Kong A&D trophy award, HKMVC AWARDS and other interior design awards. Some Hong Kong design works have also been featured in many influential interior design magazines and newspapers. They have also been invited to participate in special TV interviews and have been well received by the community.
In order to give back to the community, Mr. Ng has been invited as a guest lecturer at the Correctional Services Department of Hong Kong and a lecturer at the Hong Kong School of Interior Design and Architecture. They can help them improve their professional skills and obtain accredited qualifications, thus increasing their employability.
