The products are carefully designed with aesthetics in mind and that they are produced under environmentally friendly conditions, with an eye that the design being able to last for many generations.
The inspiration is drawn from the culture and nature of the Arctic and therefore has deep roots in Arctic everyday life where food, spices and animals are captured in nature.
It make the Arctic way of life particularly environmentally friendly and ecological.

Creating has been part of my life since I was a child. Creating something that was different from the usual made me feel different.
Trained graphic designer, fashion designer, photographer and self-taught artist, I have always wanted to express myself as simply and comprehensibly as possible. Using my culture has expressed itself in the products I design for everyday use.
inuk Design is a result of the financial crisis in 2008, when we had absolutely no tasks in our advertising agency, inuk Media, which is owned by my husband. I spent the time drawing graphic expressions and when my first test print on fabric came, I sewed cushion covers which sold immediately. It was an indication that I had hit something that people liked and at the same time, something they hadn't seen before.
Since then, the range of products has expanded to include everyday consumer goods.
